This policy explains how Ryan Murrant Editions dispatches and delivers photographic prints purchased through ryanmurranteditions.bigcartel.com. By placing an order you agree to the terms set out below.


1. Where we ship


We ship worldwide. Our destinations are grouped into three zones:

  • UK — England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland
  • Europe — all European countries (EU and non-EU)
  • Rest of the World — Asia, Oceania, the Americas and Africa

2. Delivery costs


Delivery is a mandatory charge: every order requires shipping, and the rates set out below are the only available rates. In line with UK pricing transparency rules under the Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2024, our delivery rates are published below and on our website so you can see the full cost before adding items to your basket.


Shipping is charged per order, with a base rate for the first print and a lower rate for each additional print in the same order:

  • UK: £25 for the first print, plus £5 for each additional print
  • Europe: £50 for the first print, plus £10 for each additional print
  • Rest of the World (Asia, Oceania, the Americas, Africa): £100 for the first print, plus £50 for each additional print


The exact shipping cost will be calculated and displayed at checkout before you confirm your order. Higher rates reflect secure, protected packaging and tracked services appropriate to the value and fragility of fine-art prints.


3. Delivery options and estimated times

Once the prints arrive with Ryan Murrant Editions, they will be checked, signed and numbered and then dispatched via Royal Mail. Please be aware that Ryan is a working photographer so delays can happen in busy periods. If you have an questions please email hello@ryanmurrannteditions.com.

For despatch your order will be via one of these methods.


UK

  • Royal Mail 2nd Class — 2 to 3 working days
  • Royal Mail 1st Class — 1 to 2 working days
  • Royal Mail Tracked 48 — 2 working days, with tracking


Europe

  • Royal Mail International Tracked — 3 to 5 working days (most countries)
  • Royal Mail International Standard — 5 to 7 working days


Rest of the World

  • Royal Mail International Tracked — 5 to 7 working days
  • Royal Mail International Standard — 6 to 10 working days


All estimates are provided by Royal Mail and are not guaranteed. Customs clearance can add several days to international deliveries and is outside our control.


4. Order processing and dispatch


All prints are produced to order. We aim to print, package and dispatch your order within 3 to 5 working days of receiving payment. Working days are Monday to Friday, excluding UK public holidays.


You will receive a confirmation email when your order has been dispatched. For tracked services, the tracking number will be included in that email.


5. Hand-signed prints


Every print is personally hand-signed by Ryan Murrant before dispatch as a mark of authenticity. The signature is placed in a standard position on each print and is part of the finished product as supplied. Minor natural variation in signature placement, pressure or ink density between prints is normal and is not considered a defect.


6. Statutory delivery period


Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, we will deliver UK orders without undue delay and in any event within 30 days of the order being placed, unless a longer period has been agreed with you. For international orders, we apply the same 30-day commitment as a matter of good practice, while recognising that customs delays in the destination country are outside our control.


If we are unable to dispatch within 30 days, we will contact you to agree a new date or, if you prefer, cancel the order and refund you in full.


7. Customs, import duties and taxes (international orders)


For deliveries outside the United Kingdom, the following applies:

  • The recipient is the importer of record and is responsible for any import duties, taxes, VAT, customs clearance fees or handling charges levied by the destination country
  • These charges are not included in the price of the goods or in the shipping cost charged at checkout
  • We have no control over these charges and cannot predict their amount, as policies and rates vary by country
  • If you refuse to pay import charges and the parcel is returned to us or destroyed by customs, we reserve the right to deduct the original outbound and any return shipping costs from any refund issued


Please check with your country's customs office before placing an order if you are unsure what charges may apply.


8. Delivery address and accuracy


It is your responsibility to provide a correct and complete delivery address at checkout, including any postal codes, regional identifiers and (for international orders) the correct country. We cannot be held liable for delays or non-delivery caused by inaccurate or incomplete address information.


If a parcel is returned to us as undeliverable due to an incorrect address, we will contact you. You will be responsible for the cost of re-dispatch.


9. Lost or delayed parcels


If your order has not arrived within a reasonable time after dispatch, please contact us at hello@ryanmurranteditions.com. We will work with Royal Mail to locate the parcel.


Royal Mail does not consider an item officially lost until the following periods have elapsed from the date of posting:

  • UK services (1st Class, 2nd Class, Tracked 48) — 10 working days
  • International services to Europe — 20 working days
  • International services to Rest of the World — 25 working days


If a parcel is confirmed lost, you are entitled to a replacement or a full refund (including the original delivery charge). Your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are not affected.


10. Damaged items


All prints are carefully packaged in rigid protective sleeves and stiffened mailers to minimise the risk of damage in transit. If your print arrives damaged, please contact us at hello@ryanmurranteditions.com within 7 days of delivery, including photographs of the damage to the packaging and the print itself. We will arrange a replacement or refund at no cost to you but will require the damaged goods back first.


11. Risk and ownership


Risk in the goods passes to you when they are delivered to the address you provided. Ownership of the goods passes to you once we have received payment in full.
